EcoCAR Innovation Challenge
Stood up as Co-PI with Prof. P. Brodsky on the $520K, four-year DOE Advanced Vehicle Technology Competition award; assembling the Mines team for the Fall 2026 kickoff.
Battery Workforce Challenge
Year 3 competition with the Mines-ACC team after a Year 1 national win and Year 2 fourth-place finish. Coaching students through the EV build-off and year-end report-out.
Teaching
Wrapping EBGN 599 (Financial Engineering) and the spring offering of MEGN 301. Drafting the Summer 2026 iteration of MEGN 301 with tighter mastery-based rubrics.
KEEN Crescendo
Selected as part of a small group of nationally recognized experts for the Spring 2026 KEEN Crescendo cohort. Workshop design for the EMxAI summer intensive is the next deliverable.
Writing
Drafting the Teaching Workload Index paper for the Journal of Engineering Education. Editing the "Hydrogen Dreams, False Claims" book chapter on the Nikola Corporation collapse for Elgar Publishing.
Method & Muse
Co-founder operations continue. Current focus is the next single-barrel release and front-of-house automation work that pulls on the engineering side of my brain.
