Overview
Member of the Mines Capstone Leadership Team as ME co-representative (Fall 2025-Present), contributing to program-level planning, delivery standards, and coordination with the Industry Partnership Board Steering Committee for annual cohorts of 700+ engineering students. Also a member of the Industry Partnership Board Steering Committee.
Engagement (Fall 2022 - Spring 2026, 8 semesters)
- Served as Client for approximately 22 projects I personally proposed and sponsored
- Served as Project Advisor for 5 projects
- Served as Technical Advisor for 6 additional projects
- Mentored more than 30 teams across the 8-semester window
Notable Project Outcomes
- 1st place — EV Powertrain Swap (Fall 2023)
- 2nd place — EV Powertrain Swap (Fall 2024)
- 2nd place — NASA Lunabotics (Fall 2023)
- Successfully secured $17.5K in external funding for four additional Fall 2024 projects (Amphibious and Arctic Vehicle, Analog Drone, 24 Hours of Lemons, Fluid Powered Vehicle)
Program-Level Contributions
Currently working with the Capstone Leadership Team on redesigning the capstone experience to emphasize authentic assessment, deeper industry connection, and engineering character development. Supports approximately 200+ student capstone teams per semester across all engineering departments.
